Allied Healthcare Skillnet is an enterprise led network with a focus on the nursing home sector.
We offer numerous courses which provide training to enrich the contribution of workers in the implementation
of internationally recognised best practice standards in nursing homes.

Our network is set up by nursing homes for nursing homes and in this regard we are driven by the members within it. This offers a unique opportunity for nursing homes to attain locally based training which is customer led.

This intrinsic partnership between the network and its members produces a platform upon which training programmes are tailored to the training needs of nursing homes and the legislative requirements which they face.

The courses provided have universal appeal to all those involved in the nursing home sector, for example cleaning staff, kitchen staff, HCAs, nurses and healthcare managers.

Ultimately Allied Healthcare Skillnet sees the development and expansion of the network as an advantage to each individual member which in turn is beneficial to the entire nursing home sector because the core objective of the network is to facilitate the on-going professional development of staff.
